El Paso, Texas

El Paso was the first destination of our first tour out Street Preaching. Or, rather, it was supposed to be. The Lord had a different plan of course. We got as far as Vidor, Texas, as you may already know, when our truck broke down. It took us 17 days to make it to El Paso! When we arrived, we found a place to stay and while getting settled in we began passing out Spanish tracts in earnest. We had started passing out the Spanish ones in San Antonio, but in El Paso it is at least five Spanish tracts to every one English tract. I was struck by how well received the tracts were. Most folks acted like they had never seen a tract before and were very polite and appreciative. Of course, if you are like me, you’ve probably never had a stranger personally offer you a tract in your life. Please pray that the tracts will continue to be well received, and that our street preaching will be well received also.
As always, we covet your prayers, especially for boldness and wisdom.
Please pray that God will continue to open doors for us to minister...
