The Bible is the greatest history book ever written, because it is HIStory. Not only does it tell us what has already happened, but it tells us those things that are soon to happen. The next great event in HIStory is HIS return. If you've never repented and trusted Jesus Christ alone to save your soul from hell, there are some things you need to know: 

You need to know...You are a sinner

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Romans 3:10

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 3:23

If we say that we have not sinned, WE MAKE HIM A LIAR...
1 John 1:10a

If we say that we have no sin, WE DECEIVE OURSELVES, and the truth is not in us.
1 John 1:8

 

You need to know...You are on your way to hell

Know ye not that the unrighteous SHALL NOT inherit the kingdom of God?
1 Corinthians 6:9a

The wicked shall be TURNED INTO HELL
Psalm 9:17a

Depart from me, ye cursed, INTO EVERLASTING FIRE
Matthew 25:41b

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.
Revelation 20:15 

You need to know...You cannot earn it

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us...
Titus 3:5a

If you COULD earn it, Jesus would not have had to die on the cross.

You need to know...Your debt is paid

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God...
1 Peter 3:18a

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Romans 5:8-9

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.
Colossians 1:14 

 

You need to know...You must repent

But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am NOT COME TO CALL THE RIGHTEOUS, BUT SINNERS TO REPENTANCE.
Matthew 9:13

I tell you, Nay: but, EXCEPT YE REPENT, ye shall all likewise perish.
Luke 13:3

 

You need to know...You must be born again

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, EXCEPT A MAN BE BORN AGAIN, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3:3

Marvel not that I said unto thee, YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN.
John 3:7

Being BORN AGAIN, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, BY THE WORD OF GOD, which liveth and abideth for ever.
1 Peter 1:23

 

You need to know...You must receive Him

But as many as RECEIVED him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that BELIEVE on his name.
John 1:12

That if thou shalt CONFESS with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt BELIEVE in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, THOU SHALT BE SAVED.
Romans 10:9

You need to know...You cannot lose it

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; THAT YE MAY KNOW that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
1 John 5:13

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, SHALL BE ABLE TO SEPARATE US from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39
